The full stainless steel double exit exhaust system keeps noise to a minimum with no resonance, and is perfect for touring. The manual all synchromesh 5-speed Getrag gearbox selects with ease, the clutch light and progressive... A thrill to drive and what a soundtrack.
Here we have a very special CMC bespoke built 1963 Jaguar MK2.
This gorgeous MK2 was sourced in the States by CMC and shipped over in 1998 for the bespoke build.
Classic Motor Cars customer Mr Sharp instructed a build to his exacting specification. The extensive bare metal restoration was completed over a two year period from January 1998 to December 1999 at a cost of £95,435 plus the cost of the donor car at £25,000.
Works include a bare shell estoration, completely restored original interior with optional upgrades, full engine, axle and differential rebuild, brand new 5 speed Getrag gearbox, new wiring loom, disc brake system, bespoke CMC vacuum air conditioning, central locking etc. totaling a staggering £120,435.
Since restoration, this stunning Jaguar has been driven just over 14,000 miles. A further £48,065 has been lavished on the car over the past 26 years, mainly by Mr Sharp who owned the car for 23 years.
The history file documents 16 fully detailed restoration stage payments to Classic Motor Cars from 1998 to 2000 for the initial restoration of £95,435 plus a further batch of invoices for servicing and upgrades totalling £48,065, 2 sets of keys, one original key that fits all exterior locks and ignition, all presented in a luxury box file.

This is an outstanding example of the mighty Jaguar MK2. Desirable and refined this rare bespoke build by noted Classic Motor Cars, Bridgenorth.
Needless to say, this gorgeous MK2 would stand proud in any collection and is one not to be missed.
Sadly, in 2013 this car suffered a very minor battery fire. Despite CMC meticulously and perfectly repairing the car, unfortunately the owners insurance company recorded a category D insurance loss against it. Never-the-less, the car was such an important vehicle to the family that it was brought back from the insurers by its owners and CMC completed repairs and returned the car to the road as good as new.
