Sumptuous Highline Black Leather. Hand stitched Nappa leather interior presents in near perfect order throughout. The optional electric BMW sports seats with driver memory are in perfect order showing no signs of adverse wear, giving a firm but comfortable feel, the side bolsters give an extra feeling of security. Unmarked special order 380mm diameter three-spoke black leather-rimmed M-Technic steering wheel, black leather gear selector and gaitor.
The full leather upholstery uses 27 square meters of Nappa leather on the front and rear seats, door panels, centre console, glove box, roof lining, sun visors, door pillars, upper door trim, rear parcel shelf and dashboard. The original luxury deep pile carpets are excellent throughout... A combination that lets you know you're driving something very special.
All electronic gauges and switches work as they were intended including the check control panel, Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB including Bluetooth, USB, SD, SDHC and DAB+ Radio, BMW on-board computer, electric front and rear windows, electric heated mirrors, BMW glovebox torch, the list goes on and on.
The rear window has an optional manual blind. In the boot, you will find a complete full tool kit, spare bulbs and fuses etc, unused BBS TRX spare wheel and an unopened factory sealed first aid kit.

The distinctive shark nose, long bonnet, rubber boot spoiler and integrated front spoiler define the 635...
Finished in factory Cirrus Blue Metallic (Code 189) the paintwork has a deep gloss uniformed shine throughout. The bodywork is all original, there's no evidence of previous panel or structural damage, all panels are perfectly straight, gaps as per it left the factory, and 'Highline' arch spats unmarked. All original lights, Bosch halogen front lights, and rear lights all in exceptional order with uniform colour and a silky polished finish. BMW mudflaps front and rear, the underside is clear Waxoyl protected.
The electric slide/tilt sunroof operates at the touch of a button swiftly, quietly and smoothly. All original factory green heat-insulating BMW stamped glass is in perfect order... Simply wonderful
Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
Filling the arches are a set of excellent BBS Split Rim 17-inch cross spoke alloy wheels with deep dish polished rims fitted with all matching excellent Continental ContiSport Contact 5 235/45 R17 tyres.
A full set of original BBS TRX cross-spoke alloy wheels are available with the car.
Twin-circuit brake system with hydraulic brake servo, ABS, front and rear ventilated disc brakes give a positive sports car braking feel.
Engine & Transmission
The silky-smooth fast-revving 3.5 litre in-line 6-cylinder M30 engine accelerates the coupe from 0-60 in just a little over 7 seconds, 220 BHP and 315 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. Described by journalists "staggering silky smooth rush of controlled power".
The 4-speed switchable ZF automatic transmission with sports mode selects and changes with ease. Driving is a dream complimented by engine speed-related power steering.
The engine and engine bay are fully detailed and display many of the original factory decals.

Supplied new by official BMW dealers Dick Lovett, Swindon on 20th January 1990. This 635 has only had 6 former long term keepers who have all clearly loved and cherished her.
The history file documents the no expense spared, fully detailed stamped service history with servicing and maintenance receipts back to when the car was new totalling thousands of pounds and warranting the very low 28k recorded miles.
Complete with the BMW handbook pack and wallet, BMW original keys, first issued tax disc expiring 31.12.90, BMW build specification, many past MOT certificates and maintenance invoices.
Recent servicing and preventative maintenance expenditure of circa £12,250 has been spent since 2016, bringing this 635 into tip-top condition and ready to enjoy.
Inspection II Service completed by Revive Iconics, Kirby Mallory, Leicestershire a little over 200 miles ago, including gearbox oil and filter, engine oil and filter, brake fluid, spark plugs, fuel filter and air conditioning re-gas etc.
Unused for 4 years from March 2018 to March 2022 when it was purchased by a legendary British car designer who has worked for Ford, TWR, Aston Martin and Jaguar to add to his own private collection until sold by him in March 2025.

One of the most desirable cars of the 80s and a hugely expensive car at the time... Production of the E24 ran from 1976–1989. It was one of the last BMWs to have the classic ‘shark nose’ slanted front grille.
Karmann manufactured the early 6-Series BMWs from launch in 1976 before BMW took production in-house. The most significant technological upgrade on the E24 range took place in 1982 after which all models were constructed upon the more advanced E28 chassis through until production ceased in 1989. The 635CSi variant which by far and away formed the vast majority of sales for the E24 family.
