Interior & Equipment
The luxurious stone-beige optional extra Connolly Autolux Grade leather upholstery is a superb contrast to the Connaught Green exterior paintwork. The supple leather retains an unblemished appearance with a lovely factory finish. The seat bases show no signs of any wear, matching leather door cards, rear seats and leather centre console all unmarked. The original cream piped carpets are in excellent order and unmarked. The Burr Walnut inlays are all in original excellent order with no cracking or lifting. All interior lighting, gauges, switches and electrics work as they should... Perfect
Exterior
Finished in factory Connaught Green the paintwork has a brilliant uniformed deep gloss shine throughout. All original panels are perfectly straight, totally rust free and gaps as per it left the factory. All original lights front and rear are in exceptional order with uniformed colour and a silky polished finish, all brightwork is in exceptional order, the optional rear luggage carrier can easily be removed.
The optional extra Rivenhood, sidescreens and tonneau are unmarked and appear to have never been used... Wonderful
Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
Fitted with the original optional extra 15" 6J chromium plated wire wheels, sitting on all matching 195/60 R15 Avon ZT5 tyres.
Hydraulic brake system with servo assistance, front 279mm disc and rear 228mm drums are perfectly balanced and pull up strongly. Steering is precise and responsive.
Engine & Transmission
Fitted with the desirable 2.0L Rover T16 4-cylinder Fuel Injected Twin-Cam engine, with a lively 0-60 in 7.5 Sec. Power is linear and smooth, hot or cold starting is instant and no problem. There are no adverse rattles, untoward noises or evidence of fluid leaks. The 5-speed gearbox operates smoothly and with ease, the clutch light and progressive. The engine bay is completely detailed as per it left the factory. Driving this Plus 4 is simply a joy...
Summary
Here we have a chance to own a very desirable and rare Morgan Plus 4, 4 Seater in the best colour combination of Connaught Green coachwork and stone-beige leather. This Plus 4 was registered new to Dr A.B. Roberts on the 15th September 1993 by Morgan main dealers Otley Motors, Pool Road, Cross Green, Otley, West Yorkshire. Dr Roberts cherished the car until 7th November 2007, and a letter signed by Dr Roberts confirms the mileage at the point of sale as being 3958 miles. The car has only had 2 further long-term keepers since. It's clear to see it has been truly pampered and cherished throughout its lifetime.
The history file contains the original Morgan Owners Handbook, fully documented service history, every mot since the first on 16th September 1996 when the mileage stated 1427, tax discs dating back to 1995 plus receipts and invoices for thousands of pounds worth of servicing and maintenance. This detailed documentation proves the genuine low mileage.
This is a desirable, usable and refined classic car with values increasing year on year.

The Morgan +4 was introduced in 1950 as a larger-engined ("plus") car than the 4/4. The +4 initially used the 2,088 cc (127.4 cu in) Standard Vanguard engine and at introduction sold for £625 (two-seater) or £723 (coupé).
The +4 used Triumph TR2 (in 1953), TR3 (1956),or TR4A engines (until 1969). Plus 4 production was suspended in 1969 but brought back in 1985 with a Fiat engine (1985–1988) and then a 4-cylinder Rover engine (1988–2000). Production was again suspended and the Plus 4 returned once more in 2004 with a 155 bhp (116 kW; 157 PS) Ford 4-cylinder.
Today the Morgan remains one of the UK’s favourite classic cars. This is an excellent opportunity to own a very rare stunning show standard Morgan Plus 4 with very low mileage and incredible documented history file.
